Diana M. Ross, Once Upon A Wedding |
Ample time in pre-planning helped this couple stay within their budget. The first stage in pre-planning was to itemize, realistically, the budget for each aspect of the wedding. Once this was accomplished, the next step was for them to hire a wedding planner who provided a qualified list of vendors to contact. The couple then interviewed several vendors in each category and hired those vendors who they thought could best meet their needs.
By utilizing an off-premise caterer who was especially flexible in meal planning, the couple was able to customize the menu to suit their specific needs and budget. For example, the caterer suggested that the couple serve a larger selection of less lavish but still very appealing appetizers that allowed them to create a satisfying menu.
